Unfortunately, the one that I have received was a disaster. Since Thomann had no stock available to exchange it, I was offered a £30 partial refund instead which I have agreed to. I shouldn’t have accepted it. The tuners are skipping and need to be replaced, the bridge has started coming off the body and needed to be reattached, the top layer of lacquer which has been scratched and applied unevenly from factory has started to crack and peel off. This guitar had the worst and sharpest fretwork I have ever experienced. After fixing most of those issues it’s a playable instrument that sounds amazing with a set of light Ernie Ball phosphor bronze strings; however, in the end the total cost of this instrument with all the necessary repairs came up to around £180 which is obviously completely unacceptable since you can get a Baton Rouge for that price. Lesson learned - when you get a HB lemon, send it back and get a replacement unit folks.
