Sadly this little bass let me down big time one year later. All the frets - yes, all the frets - started to sprout (come out) of the fretboard. This left razor sharp edges and,of course, became unplayable.
I contacted Thoman and was told I should have kept the guitar in a proper temperature-regulated room. Well, none of my other 10 or more guitars have ever had any problems like that. To be fair, Thomann offered to take it back for inspection, but a friend said he wanted to have it, so I gave it to him.
The problem? Certainly a fretboard that was not dry when it was fretted.
A shame, because it sounded amazing and was nice to play before the frets started coming out.
