Harley Benton TE-40 TBK Deluxe Series

Pros: Absolutely beautiful guitar, very well designed.
Cons:
- Extremely poor packaging design, resulting in shipping damage that it was utterly unable to protect the guitar from.
- Sound rated very poor due to being unplayable.
- Quality poor (for bad packaging design resulting in otherwise preventable damage)

I was very distressed to open this damaged HB TE-40 TBK. Upon opening it, we found it to be damaged due to a combination of mistreatment during shipping and very poor Harley Benton packaging. The Bridge Humbucker was broken due to having been smacked hard on its face during shipping. Harley Benton packed the guitar stand right next to the face of the guitar and the box was tweaked during shipment such that the guitar stand had nowhere to go except into the face of the guitar, breaking the humbucker. We found all of the internal guitar box padding unglued from their intended locations inside the box and just free floating around the guitar, providing no padding for impacts. So sad.
This is my second HB guitar. Right now, I don't think I will order any more from HB again.

I received the order, TE 40 Deluxe model. However, the unit I received is substandard for any Thomann, Harley Benton, guitar. The tuning machines are defective and work very poorly; the edges of the frets are exposed and very sharp (enough to cut fingers) and the set-up (intonation) is WAY off. I'm completely dissatisfied with this guitar, it isn't o the great overall quality of my other HB guitars. It would cost me nearly as much in US dollars to get it up to the standard I expected, as the guitar cost me without shipping. Please advise as to how you and I can arrange to remedy this problem.
