Does the job!
DrKevGuitar 08.01.2021
The box itself does the job perfectly. No noise, isolated outputs, and my pedals sound great! It's smaller than some of my pedals, which I love. The LEDs are not too bright, which I also love. Looks good too!

My only complaints are the other stuff that comes with it. The 60cm long DC cables are far too long for my needs and are too thick. I think both connectors should be right-angled, the straight one just wastes space. That said, the outputs on the box are very close together and right-angled jacks are a tight fit. I will be making my own cables. The 12V power supply cable needs to be longer and is worryingly thin.

Overall, it's a good package at a great price. If you have high-gain distortion pedals mixed with digital effects, this will get rid of the unpleasant noise digital noise.

I'm sending mine back to exchange for a larger version with more outputs. I realise that best results are when all my digital pedals are on their own output and with only 5 on this unit I've left myself no room for expansion.

H
Perfect for smaller boards, max 5 pedals!!!
HMMR 28.04.2022
Was referred to this item by the Thomman chat some month ago and I regret not buying it at that time.

The little silver beast is accommodating x5 independent outputs, and more important for my needs, x2 variable outputs for 09V-12V-18V.

This is a perfect extra option even if you are running your rig entirely with 9v pedals.....who knows what your new pedal will be and power needed to run it.

I have not noticed any sounds nor interference for now so that makes me already very pleased. The tidiness of the pedal board now, without the separate adapters from each pedal is a joy, really a space saver

The tiny, really small casing is quite easy to place around your board and the x5 - 60 cm DC cables are suitable and do their job. Great packaging!!!

I bought an extra 75cm DC cable since I needed to plug in a Wah pedal on the opposite side of the board that I like to take out sometimes and need extra length on cabling, but it would have tightly worked with the provided cables, also this wah runs under 18v so another reason for me to buy this item.

The DC cables are indeed a bit hard but do their job correctly and plug in well into pedals.

It might get a bit warm after some extended use but of course that is not a challenge and having in mind the size and purpose, this seems to be normal.

Last but not least, agree again with other previous reviews that the 12v power adapter has a bit of a thin cable but seems it will hold for a while so not worried about that. Also a spare one should not be a big investment should it break

I would say not much more is available with this awesome price and quality.

Time will tell but I am always very confident in Harley Benton - Thomman brands products, amazing stuff for a very affordable price. Always exceeding expectations and positioning itself in line with much more expensive-premium but similar items from other brands selling only that, brand name!

A real winner and there are several larger options since x5 pedals might be a bit small, enough for me and this pedal board w/ multi effect, boost, wah wah, and Wireless...now the main problem arises, which will be the 5th pedal....? I really, really don't need more pedals but we all have this cross we gladly carry I guess. Pedals, Pedals, Pedals, More pedals.....

ATT PURCHASE MANAGEMENT THOMMAN.....If you manage to get some Marshall Guv'nor 2 pedals in stock....I would be among the first to buy one! Really don't need it but hey, let's start thinking about that 5th and last pedal for this board, I still have space for one more pedal to plug to this amazing little power supply!

Great value, although a bit hot.
Dr_Pilsner 26.10.2022
When running a couple of more demanding pedals this unit gets really hot. To the point where I start to worry. I could feel the heat rising through the board and the pedals temperature was around 45-50 degrees Celsius when measured..

Still works though, half a year later. Will update review if it burns out.

Silent unit
Roman.Guitaroman 21.10.2021
This is the heart of my pedalboard. Light and thin block. Three outputs at 9 volts. And two configurable outputs, 9 -12-18 volts. I have pedals running from 12 volts. I was looking for a power supply in a small and low pedalboard. I was fascinated by the size and functionality of the device. I had power supplies and some of them were noisy. Harley Benton ISO-5 Pro turned out to be silent. It is very cool. I bragged to my familiar guitarists and this is the fifth time I've bought the same block for them. The power wires seemed long to me for my pedalboard and I bought shorter ones on Thomann. And long wires will come in handy on a large pedalboard. :)))) I am very happy with the purchase, thank you for the fast delivery and high quality Harley Benton ISO-5 Pro.

Great, but please include angled/angled cables!
RadioFM74 20.11.2020
Spectacular value: works as described, fixed quite a few noise issues in my pedalboard.
My only gripe: they should include angled/angled patch cables. The included patch cables are straight/angled. If you have a "Nano" pedalboard, this causes a dilemma: plug the straight end to the power supply, and it risks not fitting under the pedalboard; fit the straight end to the pedals, and it will stick out from the top of the board. Buyers: get angled patch cables when you order this power supply!

cheap good quality
kostas2203 16.02.2022
one of the cheapest power supplies you can get ! mine had no issues making weird noises or not powering the pedals properly . the only think that can go wrong with sth like this is the fact that as a product it propably does not have the best quality control when they come out of the factory . a 95% can work gine and the other 5% have some issues . but you order from thomann . If there is anything wrong they are always more than happy to help you

Perfect
skudrupuznis 18.01.2022
Lovely little power adapter. Bought this because of recomendation from my friend when I was putting together my first pedalboard. I was a bit sceptical at first because the price is very low compared to other brands but I'm happy with the purchase. Have been using it for a year now and I have zero complaints. I'm using it quite carefully though because it seems a bit fragile, don't know if it would be good for more heavy use (thats what she said) like touring etc.

Compact And Robust Design
Z4TA 14.03.2022
I use it on stage for pedalboard with 4 or 5 pedals and I have never had a problem.

Extra positive aspects:
- Compact And Robust Design.
- Variety of power outputs (9, 12, 18 v) .

Disappointing performance, misleading description
Electroblues 03.02.2024
Beware!
These power supplies are NOT properly, fully isolated, the grounds are all connected together. The description does not mention this or make it clear, it is misleading as to what exactly the level of isolation actually is. Seeing as 'ground loop' issues are a common form of pedalboard noise you need to be aware of this.
I finally located the source of noise from my Ampero One (killer pedal for the price) making the pedalboard unusable.... yes, it is the ISO-5 pro. When I replaced the ISO-5 500mA output into the Ampero with the supplied Hotone power supply all went quiet and problem resolved (due to breaking the ground loops the ISO-5 introduces.
Since the whole point of using a power supply box was to reduce power cabling this is a retrograde step. Going to buy a Caline CP-202 which has 'True' isolated and independent outputs (no connected grounds). Disappointing for a Thomann product, which I'm going to have to skip as useless. Well made but doesn't do the job. Expected better from you.
