Harley Benton Slider II Vintage Series

Very poor quality control that allowed this guitar to leave the factory. Upon opening it I discovered some "extra" holes drilled in the headstock. It looks like the holes for the tuning pegs were drilled in the wrong place so they just drilled more holes!!! Really shoddy. Thomann's customer service was excellent however and the item was promptly returned for a refund. I may just have been unlucky but buyer beware with this lap-steel

With this product, I found out it takes a slide guitar playing technique to get that slide guitar sound. I can produce on regular electric guitar everything this gadget does. It's practically just a piece of plastic with strings and a pickup attached to it. If you really know how to play these things, you might get somewhere with this, to me it sounds just like any other guitar.
