The dual coil / mic pickup is great to have. I haven't found anything for that price that have these options and it's one I really wanted so percussive sounds would be picked up.
Sounds good with my dreadnought plugged into an amp.
In my case the G string sounded way louder than the others. I did find a way to attenuate the effect by taping two small coins on the pick up just under the G string. After that it just seems perfect for me.
Single coil gives it that particular sensitivity / dynamics that humbuckers don't have, it's something to know (I really like that, I've never had a single coil guitar before and I think they sound really cool).
The wire is not super thick but still decent. Since it's short and just meant to be attached to the guitar and not directly on an amp, I think it's better than other options where you got a long thin cable, which seem riskier.
Obviously if you have a way bigger budget for a pickup there probably is way better out there, but in this price range this one seems really good. Let's see how it holds up in the long run.

Sounds great with my dreadnought acoustic guitar.
Comparing to SH-20, it's great to have a choice whether use mic or not. It is pretty easy to regulate the volume and the mic capture level with this pickup. And the price is reasonable.

The magnetic pickup sounds great on a dreadnought, really nice sound. Can't really use the mic with the amp anywhere near close as you get a ton of feedback.

Worth every penny

I decided to permanently fit the pick up, but still able to change batteries when needed. The mic adds a great deal of presence and the magnet part gives great string seperation. Considering I only play pubs, weddings, and small festivals It's not got the brand hype but it punches well above its weight. I even did a recording just DI'd to my interface and with some light EQ cut, reverb and a touch of compression great!! Not tried live yet but very confident it will still deliver. Great product.

After trying many more expensive sound hole p'ups over around 50 years of guitaring, I have eventually found the perfect item.
forget the mic part, the magnetics sound absolutely perfect and natural.
for 1/10th the cost of my last sound hole p'up, this is the holy grail of them all.

Surprisingly well

The price of this pickup is surprisingly below the quality of the sound. Especially good when plugged into a bass amp, in my case a Fender Rumble 40. For some reasons, electro-acoustics and bass amps like each other, and the pickup is a great medium of matching them.

For the price, you simply cantt beat this, sure maybe a Fishman or Baggs will sound somewhat better, but for this price simply unbeatable. So much so I just ordered a second one.

Very nice pickup with mic option
PaulPp 07.07.2022
My main acoustic guitar's pickup broke, and I borrowed this one from a friend for a gig I had. It was very satisfying. The pickup sound is relatively close to the natural sound of the acoustic guitar and if you combine the mic with the pickup you can achieve pretty nice results. After that trial I bought it and I have it now as a spare pickup.
The system is active but you don't have any kind of eq, and while that is a limitation, you will probably need very gentle or no eq. It sounds nicely with no eq. The mic tends to capture the high frequencies better.

Used a Seymour Duncan Woody, that our puppy managed to chew up:-)
Decided to try out the TrueTone SH30. The TrueTone produces a fuller and more natural acoustic sond. Especially with the mike blended in. It´s simply a better pickup. Had to return the first one though.
The mike went silent, so I´m not quite sure about the build quality. But haven´t had any issues with the replacement.
