This is great and useful tool if you have a lot of different guitars for setup, but it has very sharp edges (like razor blades). I had to file it and sandpaper it before use. But now that this is done, it is great.

A good surpise, for the price.
Small Shed Luthier 23.04.2022
Like other reviews stated, it really has rough edges and you do need to sand the gauges a bit, otherwise you will end up scratching something.
For the price, this gauges were a pleasent surprise due to their accuracy.
Essential for setups or simply to know the radius on your fretboard, they come with a keyring, so don't leave home without them... ( just kidding ).

Precise and high quality
Ivan Getov 05.11.2021
Had them checked by my tech against the pricier gauges and they were spot-on. I'm only giving a 4-star on Quality, because the edges are a little rough and not rounded a little. They're not jagged or sharp, just rough.
But, they're accurate and that's all that matters for a gauge.

Does its job
opetaniec_ 22.03.2023
Works fine but edges are pretty rough, you can fix it with sandpaper.

Good

Once again this H.B tool is great for the price! Not the best quality of course and a little rough on the edges (nothing a little sandpaper can't cure) but it gets it's job done. Nice to have in your collection if you set up your guitar yourself.

Not bad
Halkitis Manos 08.12.2022
The finish l not the best. The one side is sharp and needs filing and you cannot do measurements with the strings unless yuor ation is very high Because they are thin and sharp and you might scratch your fretboard. 4 stars because are really cheap.

Very nice budget option
Kambotron 12.08.2021
As someone who just started getting more serious about guitar setups, I appreciate having a cheaper option, that does the job just as well.
This format of gauges are also more convenient as opposed to the square type, since you can slide them underneath your stings.

It does the job.

A nice tool to have. The quality is good, the only problem I found is that on one side the edges are quite sharp, probably from the machine that cuts them, so I needed to file them.

Rough edges, despite description of "smooth steel"
JamesC01 08.01.2024
The edges are sharp enough to cut your fingers, so you'll need to take some sandpaper to them. This is disappointing considering the description says "smooth, stainless steel". But the fact that the radiuses are etched instead of printed is quite nice.

Very sharp unfinished steel

They do the job as supposed to be.
Just, before you put them against the fretboard, send it properly, as you can damage the wood.
