Small size, big usefulness
J Hoeven 13.03.2023
Very compact when folded (and also open), but very stable. Well made. I bought it to bring to gigs, but ended up liking it so much that I use it at home, too. Comes with a nice little carry bag.
Thomann initially sent me the wrong one (seems to be happening more lately), and I had to wait quite a while for it to be replaced with the correct model.

Among the smallest stands available for stage.

Very small and compact but the foam pad / head isn't the best solution in my opinion. In fact I have modified my ones by removing the glued on 'pad' and replacing it with a rubber 'foot' from another guitar stand I had. Like this I could also regulate the angle in which the instument is inclined. The original pad makes the guitar / bass lean way far too diagonally -in my opinion. I like the fact that they close up so small that I can put a pair of them in my bag of cables at gigs.

A
excellent stand, not very good for a jazz bass
Apalas 13.11.2017
The stand is very sturdy and very well made. It also has its own carry bag. But you have to try a bit harder to find a good position for a jazz bass, due to its offset body. I believe that it is more suitable for precision basses.

S
nice small stand
Sven26 05.12.2019
This stand looks nice and it very stable, i am using it for over 10 years now i believe, never had any problems with it. On the downside is the ball notch that prevents the arms from folding up. While being a practical and nice solution, Its so hard to press down that i often use a hard item like a screwdriver to push it inside. I suppose its rather meant to go down by itself if you fold back the legs with a certain amount of power.
Still a great stand because it uses so few space and can be folded to such small format when not in use.

Hold your guitar well
Anonymous 17.10.2014
The built is very solid, no worries with breakage here. It also holds the guitar firmly. I had put my Gibson Les Paul and Fender Tele on this stand and didn't have to worry about the guitars slipping or falling down, unless you have babies or little kids running around.

Good stand
Anonymous 29.01.2015
Purchased 5 of these stands. It is compact and sturdy, works as advertised. Comes with a sling bag which is handy. The foam padding seems to protect the guitar well and had no issues so far. It is fairly light but not sure if I could fit it in my gigbag, hence probably the sling bag was included.

It is easy and quick to set up without any fuss. The legs are spread out with good centre of gravity and with the guitar in place, there is no tilting or wobble.
However, the nut for the folding mechanism may need tightening up if it is constantly being folded in and out. A minor issue and is expected. It only happened to one of my stand and the remaining 4 seemed to be holding up so far.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with the purchase. Much prefer this over the usual A frame I had in the past.

I love this really neat piece of kit. it has great secure stability and folds away into a space saving kit bag. nice bright colour highlights too which helps stop you forgetting to pick it up after gigs.
