Excellent guitar stand
Gareth S. 24.02.2018
I now have two of these - one for use at home and a second which lives in my kit bag for rehearsals and gigs.

They are absolutely brilliant - solid, stable, well made and easy to use. The drawstring bag which comes with the stand is very handy if like me you want to carry it around.

The folding mechanism is completely intuitive, and the size when collapsed is very compact. The weight is enough to make the stand stable, without being a burden to carry around. It looks good, and in particular isn't an eyesore when positioned in the home.

I feel completely relaxed when my guitar is on the stand in the rehearsal room, at home or on a stage. Of course if someone really whacks the headstock it would fall over, but for minor bumps it seems completely rock solid.

I don't have any nitro-finished guitars, so I can't comment on whether the surface of the stand may react with that type of finish. (I have heard this can be an issue with some types of rubber / foam padding but as I say can't comment on whether this applies in this case).

In short, I don't have any bad things to say about this stand. The only reason I would consider replacing it would be to accommodate yet more guitars ... !

A very nice grab n go item
Diablo 20.01.2020
I already have other Hercules stands so I know the excellent quality of the product.
This guitar holder, younger brother of the GS302B that I own and of which I am very happy, is an even smaller and more portable version and it's very comfortable to keep in the pocket of the gigbag to go to rehearsals or concerts and always have a safe and solid support to support the your favorite guitar/bass and don't leave them to their fate, which can often prove to be inauspicious :)
The joints are made very well, the product is light and small in size, and the support is sufficiently secure. Definitely to store the guitar without anyone being close I would recommend a version of the stand with the neck holder that guarantees greater stability in case of accidental impacts

The Tonka trucks of music gear.
Martyo 22.07.2020
I've been gigging with one of these for several years. Strong, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. Folds up and packs away in it's own bag. If anything, this stand is over engineered. It's virtually unbreakable, not that i've tried. I'm pretty sure that in the event of a Nuclear war the only survivors will be Cockroaches and Hercules instrument stands. A band mate has the Saxophone version as well which he swears by and has used without problem for many years.
Pros: Good price. Packs away well. Basically indestructable.
Cons: I'm on my third as my friends keep 'borrowing' them.
I recommend this stand to everyone and anyone who will listen. You'll never need another, unless your friends are prone to 'borrowing' gear.

I have used Hercules before, different model, same great quality. Stable product, not space consuming, easy to store, brings a bag. I have no complaints.

T
Perfect for a solid body/semi hollow electric
TBoneMurphy 24.10.2022
I bought this in the hope it would handle my hollow body Gibson L5 as well as my Epiphone Sheraton and Fender Strat. While it can just about fit the width of the L5, I wouldn't trust it. A slight nudge sends the guitar toppling forward because it's at such a vertical angle to fit in.. But it holds the semi hollow and the solid body very well. Even with the kind of nudges they'd get on stage or at a jam session. The material is nice and soft so you don't have to be sorry precious about banging it as you put it down and it's extremely convenient to carry. Great piece of kit and worth the price.

Solid as Rock
danny be 12.01.2021
I was looking for something a bit more portable/less bulky to set up when I am playing/recording and I was a bit skeptical about how stable the stand would be without the arm support but It actually holds my Les Paul and my Fender Bass without shaking or moving at all! Believe me, I even tried to shake the stand to see if my guitar would go out of the stand. Also, the included bag is very handy!

Simple, but effective!
Bassdude BE 20.07.2018
I have tried a lot of stands over the years, some were too big/too high to find a good place for them in the room, others left plastic and foam residue on my bassguitar's neck, headstock and bottom, but this one has none of those issues and as an extra advantage it is really small, when all folded together it becomes even smaller and it can be packed in the little pouch you get with it so you can take it to any gig or jam if you want to. When folded together it even fits in the front of my gigbag which makes it super easy to take it with me. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a no frills, yet very parctical and easy to use and transport bass/guitar stand.

You can never go wrong with Hercules
AnotherHomeMusician 09.04.2024
Hercules stands proved its stability, durability and quality for years. This is not my first Hercules stand and I am utterly satisfied with this neat one. The patented "transformer" technology allows it to be "folded" into a very nice and small thing, to put away when is not used.
