Höfner Potiknob H909/15

I got these for my Hofner HCT 500/1 (contemporary)bass to replace factory ones to make my bass look like a German one :) They fit easily (put them on and secure little bolt with screw driver) and stay OK and yes improve the look! It took some effort to pull of factory knobs, you have to carefully pull them upwards.

After maybe 4 years top metal cover one one of them got lost, I could find it so I have ordered a new knob. That's the reason I rate this product as good, not very good.

Knobs are great, very good quality and craftmanship.

I purchased these pot knobs (x 2) for my new Contemporary Series Hofner Violin bass, along with Pyramid Gold flat wound strings. The original black pot knobs were just not in keeping with the expected look of the Hofner Violin Bass.

A simple upgrade which makes a lot of difference to the visual look of the bass. Recommended.

My main reason for purchasing the item was to have a better look on my Contemporary Bass. It did the job.
I only give 4 stars for "Quality" because the material really looks like a cheap plastic.

Good replacement knobs and look the part.

You've bought a Hofner but you don't want bass connoisseur to notice you got the cheaper one. No worries, these are excellent, albeit a bit pricey. Note that bass connoisseurs are a rare breed and their opinion shouldn't count. No matter, you will look cool anyway.

Put simply, these are fine pot knobs. I bought them to make my Contemporary Series Hofner Violin bass look and feel more like the ones we all know and love. This does this just fine.

I ordered it and installed on my Hofner Ignition Bass and it looked beautiful. it has a premium feel to it.

looks great for that vintage tone on my höfner ct but sometimes it gets loose and i can do two turns with it so it gets out of position and i'll have to take it off and on again, all in all a great knob for that vintage tone

It supposed to be impeccable as it equips the top range Hofners....but not, mine had bits of glue sticking out from the gold piece. Plus the screw wouldn't turn smoothly. If I'd put a price on it, I would say £1.50 each, but we're paying the brand alright? That's it! Still made my Hofner CT looks better, so not too bad.
