Worst guitar I've ever played
JK ismyname 22.03.2018
I'm really sorry to say this, but this was the worst guitar I've ever played.
I'm pretty sure there was not any kind of QC.
Because If this has passed the QC I don't know what to say.
The fretboard was really damaged in two different spots.
The frets were too rough, and you couldn't even make a half step bend!
The tone control made some weird noises while plugged into the amp.
The guitar was literally unplayable.

I'm quite dissapointed both from the QC and by the fact, that I needed a travel guitar so much. Of course I've sent it back to Thomann.
I also want to mention that a HB telecaster I've purchased some time ago for 82euros, was easily ten times better than this which costs almost twice as much.

I will also mention some minor flaws, that i could live with, but I don't know if there should be in this price.
One of the bridge bolts was totally loose, the strings are really light and poor quality and the fretboard is completely dry. It also doesn't hold tuning well too, but I didn't have the opportunity to test this a lot.

And If you think I'm being too picky here, I'll just mention that I've made purchases of over 3000euros and that, is the second time I return something.(the other one was just a faulty 50e looper pedal)

cool and portable
asneyd 24.09.2013
great little guitar with very hot pickup surprisingly well sounding. bought this little baby for my little brother for his 18th birthday which he really enjoyed but left in my house one time so I decided to have a go of it. I thought it would be very dull and weak sounding but was pleasantly surprised by the sound which was actually very powerful and hot sounding. I think this guitar would be a great backup for gigging as its very portable and the sound is great. all my guitarist mates think its great and 2 of them bought their own ones. I wouldn't recommend this as someones main guitar as the tone isn't very versatile but would definatly recommend for travel and backup or if your budget is tight.

A quite nice travel guitar
Archion 30.08.2017
For the money, it is a pretty decent travel guitar. Although it has one pickup, you can get a variety of sounds using the volume and tone knobs. The pickup has quite high output, so if you want to get the super clean sounds, then it may not be the best choice. The neck and fretwork feel quite good as well.
But the strings on the guitar felt like spaghetti, so I replaced them. When getting new strings you have to be aware of the fact that although the neck is of normal length, the guitar itself is much shorter, so you need to get thicker strings. I myself use 11s. Another thing you have to be aware of, is that due to the shape and size of the instrument, it is quite neck heavy, so you need to get used to it while sitting. Also, when using a strap I recommend you to fasten the strap behind the nut as you do with a regular acoustic guitar.
The minor problems I have are with the tuners sometimes not holding the tuning so well and the pickup screws tending to fall off.
But overall you'll get a pretty decent guitar and many amazed looks for the electric guitar this small size. Pair it with the Blackstar Fly 3 and you can rock out everywhere you want!

not bad

nice little guitar, could have had a better quality finish ,If you look closely you can see where someone in the factory had filled in unwanted frets with wood filler (so don`t look to closely ) but it does the job well and is easier to store than a full sized guitar.. cheap and cheerfull playable guitar

Lovely gtr!
Stratos 14.10.2013
At last a gtr you can get with you on the plane and you can play it wherever you are! It came with a professional set up; the fretboard is of good quality although it may be strange in the beginning due the small body. After a while you'll get use it and everything will seem to you normal.
For the strap, I'd recommend to combine a sax strap with a guitar strap for better balance! Rock on!

I love this thing, neck is a dream under the fingers, and it is perfect for noodling while sitting back on the couch. Doubles as a nice travel guitar too :)

Good travel guitar
Anonymous 07.04.2015
I own two of these guitars which I use for teaching and travel. They're about what you'd expect - nothing great, don't hold tune that well, sound okay - but they're small, light and cheap. I'd buy another if the need arose.

surprisingly cool
dr.c 02.05.2022
I don't have much space in my room and I play very occasionally. Despite the common opinion it works pretty great: easy to hold once you get used to how tiny it is, palm muting is tricky but doable. Definitely get a strap though. The neck is of really nice quality, straight and nice to hold. Doesn't detune as frequently as some reviews suggest.
One con is I find it hard to sustain the note longer -- perhaps that's the character of its single pickup, no idea. The other one is my guitar had a noisy audio jack. I thought it needs resoldering but after taking it out and placing back in its place, it's ok again.
Overall it's a cool, lightweight guitar for little money.

Impressive, for the price
Anonymous 28.07.2016
The pick up sucks. The tuners are sub-par, but for the price it's a great buy and worth the modifications.

Great travelling companion!
Golden Surfer 20.03.2024
This guitar must be evaluated for what it aspires to be. It does not aspire to be anyone's primary axe. It should be recognized as a travel guitar that in a pinch can be gigged with. And in that regard, it succeeds handsomely. I acknowledge that the neck dive is extreme. However, that can easily be remedied by attaching some small weight onto the strap at the bottom of the guitar. Simple
