"I need an ALLEN KEY!"
Moon K 09.05.2019
So I'm racing around town on a Saturday morning trying desperately to find an "allen key" eventually I find the local DIY shop only to find that they have a set that will do the job and the price only includes your first born child. Just before I pay my Facebook plea for help is answered and a buddy of mine rolls up with one of these doo hickeys.
I love it I take it for the evening I use in several other situations (Bloody Locking Nuts!)
So any way I get home and order two yes not one but two take my word for it once you've got one you'll want another because someone will want to borrow it.
It is a great pic of kit I've even found a little pouch to put it in so it fits on my belt ala Swiss Army Knife style.

Cheaper doesn't mean inferior
The Eric Johnson of Helsinki 28.08.2017
This is a little cheaper than some other (ahem) brands. I only have one Ibanez guitar and only one guitar with a locking trem (a Floyd thing made in Germany by Schaller a very long time ago), but looks to me like it's got all you need to set up your whammy bars.

Because I hate locking trems (I believe they suck the tone, and there is more surface-to-unit contact in PRS, end of) some of the benefits of this little guy might go unused by me, but if you're one of those Vai types, then basically, you need this.

I got this mainly for purposes of set-up, and perfect intonation, and it has everything I need. With a decent strobe tuner and this, you can set your axe up pretty much professionally. That'll cost you at least 30¤ in a guitar store. So this within the space of a year will pay for itself. So learn how to change strings perfectly (it's quite easy these days, even with locking trems), get one of these and take the power back!

Oh yeah, and it's by Ibanez. Not my chosen brand but millions can't all be wrong. A fine piece of kit.

Cool

I bought this tool because I own an Ibanez guitar and I need it a handy multi tool to make some basic adjustments on it, and also because i worked as a stage hand so it came very handy not just for me but also for other fellow musicians I worked with.

Good thing about it is that is small so you can store it basically anywhere, includes tools you need for basic adjustments, + the screwdrivers has a magnet top and it not only works for Ibanez guitars but also for Fenders and Gibsons.

I only miss the clipper on it.

Flimsy, breaks easily
nikkinaama 03.09.2021
It offers a good set of tools but mine broke after only a week or two. Not sure if my tool was just a bad unit or if it's a wider issue with this product. Anyways, would not recommend.

Nice little helper
Ralf872 14.02.2014
I was tired to loose my tools that I need for my guitars and basses. So I decided to buy a muliti tool. I bought the Ibanez Multitool Hex Wrench MTZ11 because of the very keen price and because I know that Ibanez instruments are very good for the price. The tool includes nearly everything I need to adjust my instruments. The tool is not the very highest quality, but it is perfectly good for me because I don't use it every day. There is only one tool I miss very much. Thats an allen wrench for the trussrod of my Gibson Thunderbird bass. The tool on the Ibanez doesn't fit. But overall the Ibanez Multitool ist highly recommended.

Worked fine for a few years, then it broke
virpul 13.04.2019
Worked fine for a few years, seemed sturdy, but recently one of the screws holding it together broke and all the keys fell apart.

It is quite big, I find it handier to just have the keys/screwdrivers I need separately. Especially when working with floyd rose bridge screws this one is not my favorite choice, because it takes a lot of space around it and makes it hard to turn without constantly pulling it out and readjusting the position, to not make damage on guitar's finish.

Ibanez tool past niet op ibanez gitaar
FredVdL 03.04.2022
Mijn oude Ibanez (einde 70er jaren, heeft een amerikaande trusrod stijl Gibson. Dus Inch maat en geen Gibson 6 kant. Kortom super voor al mijn gitaren behalve de Ibanez.
