You will not be disappointed

I started playing bass 30+ yrs ago back then I started out buying Fender imitations from Ibanez and such. After having peaked buying an Alembic I have come back out of curiosity and on a whim bought this bass.
Well let me tell you, it did not disappoint me. There is nothing this bass cannot do, its light has a fast neck and the electronics remind me of my Bartolini equipped basses. The finish and fret-work are impecable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the center indents on the controls are hard to feel making it hard while playing to center them, but that is all. I highly recommend this bass to any beginner and certainly to any Pro needing a more than decent back-up. Highly recommended, excellent buy.

Stunning Bass for the money
M- Drums and Bass 29.08.2024
On first inspection this bass was well finished and a quality piece of kit. The paint work is floorless and the frets are well set with no sharpe edges.
Not a bit of fret buzz in sight so I am very happy with this purchase.
I have had Ibanez bass guitars before but this one seems to be a step up from the older ones.
Out of the box it sounded fantastic but with a bit of setting up it was even better. All that was needed was a tweek to set one of the strings a little lower and a tune up and it was good to go.
The neck is so playable and let's you move up and down fast without any sticking.
It's quite light weight which I like but I know others may not.
Overall I would recommend this bass
To either new players or those gigging.

Versatile instrument

This is my second Ibanez Bass and is better than the first as it has the extra tone switch. I can find several useful tones depending on the genre. Very easy to play and on this one I have changed strings to flat wound, a whole new thing! slight burr on the neck, but nothing I would worry about.

Bass heaven

As soon as I unpacked the guitar I could see the quality of the bass, I gave it a full check and not a single issue with the finish. I tuned it up and plugged it into my amp, oh boy how fabulous it sounds. With the narrow neck its a beauty to play, yes I'm impressed, faultless, I've had more expensive basses that this beats them hands down.
Its going to be used for gigging and studio work, its got quite a life in front of it!
Rock on!
