Ibanez can do no wrong.

I was interested in getting a multiscale bass after trying my good friend's Dingwall 4 string. I am a 5 stringer though, and I was contemplating getting a 5 string SRMS bass, but I thought to myself, why not get a 6 string. I've tried quite a few 6 string basses, mostly Warwicks but never an Ibanez, which is my preferred weapon of choice. Now, the band I play with tune the E down to C#, so the B string is aaaaalll the way down to G#, so I've got a .135 and .110 in it as is, but I'm going .148 .118 next.

Superb craftsmanship, of course, the neck is superfast and delightful, but the MK2 Bartolinis were a bit of a letdown compared to the MK1's in my SR505. They sound very good, but not absolutely great like the predecessors.

Still thinking of going even further on the multiscale and getting a 37" BTB MS 5 string to have as my main weapon of choice.

And of course Thomann's service and delivery was 666%, as I've gotten to know them by now.
