Great Value! Works Perfectly.

So we are in an age in which technology has got pretty advanced. I use this to control all my effects.. let me explain.

Equipment.
So I have a Fender Supersonic 22 Watt Combo. In the effects loop I have an Apogee One. Thats connected to my iPhone X. The iRig Blueboard Controls the iPhone.

Software
I use Bias FX over Amplitube (purely because Amplitube won't allow you to do what I want). In Bias FX I turn off all the Amp and Cab simulation, and purely use it just for effects. I use the iRig Blueboard software (free download) to connect the iRig Blueboard itself, to my via Bluetooth iPhone.

The iRig Blueboard software is great. You load it up, it searches for you Blueboard, you tap on the button and it connects. Its been flawless since I've owned it. Connects every time, even if in venues where theres loads of different wifi and bluetooth devices around.

Build quality is very good. Id of preferred for that casing to be a bit more durable, but saying that, it would detract from its lightness. Overall though, the build is great.

I highly recommend this if your after a Bluetooth Controller.

Excellent for AmpliTube 5
m33n 21.07.2021
Bought this product for home use together with AmpliTube (5 for mac and ios). I wasn’t expecting too much in terms of build quality, since it looks a bit «cheap» on the pictures. But I figured it would be OK for my use. I was really positively surprised on the quality though. It’s still plastic, but it is thick and robust plastic. For my daily use at home it will hold up for years and years.
One of the main features I wanted to use the pedal for is the AmpliTube looper. A bit dissapointed that the pedal firmware doesn’t support removing a single loop, or clearing all of them. But who knows, IK Multimedia might find out that they want to add it in a future update. It certainly isn’t a show stopper for me.
Pluging in was really simple, and less than a minute after turning on the power it was ready to go.

I’m having a lot of fun with the BlueBloard, and for my kind of use I can highly recommend it.

Dissapointed

Didn’t work. With Mac OS X Catalina. Worked fine in iOS - Returned😓 Thomann however made returns easy and painless. Excellent service! If you are running a Mac that will work with - build quality was excellent.

Good bang for the buck

I'm using this bluetooth pedalboard with Bias FX running on my iPad pro, for its price works smoothly; the delay of the preset change is often imperceptible while you are playing and overall it is a very versatile and user friendly pedalboard. You can download also its proprietary application on the app store to configure all the settings and to make your device recognize the pedalboard; you can also plug 2 expression pedals to modulate your effects.
It needs a 9 volts battery and the construction quality is not premium, but overall it works well.

The board I use with my iPad and Amplitube 4. Connectivoty via BT is good, but only when I press the button to change a channel, it reacts too slowly, approx 0,5 sec, thars mean the latency is higher as is normaľ When you play and need to change solo channel, thats is a delay which is hearable ! In home training and playing good but in case of live performance it may cause a little bit problemˇˇˇ

sr
works well and I have KILLER TONE with Amplitube IOS
santu ronzu 23.05.2023
works very well with Amplitube Ios and Irig HD on my ipad pro. No wires, very easy to setup. Now I have a KILLER tone with at least 2 or 3 very specific amp models, I mean absolute killers, although I have Amplitube IOS COMPLETE), both crunch and lead, and two great clean tones with Fender models. I have been a pro guitarist for more than 20 years and am a tube amp nutter. But these two models and cab on my Amplitube 4 simply blows my mind.....powerful and warm, and feels great. (Amplitube 5 sounds and feels different. My fav is v4. )

The whole thing sounds and feels a LOT more expensive than it is! This is pro tone for a modest outlet. I don't understand why people spend thousand or even hundreds on hardware amp sims when you can have THIS. You can throw the whole setup in your gigbag and go anywhere and have assured killer tone at your disposal, and again, it all works EXTREMELY well, this setup is rock solid. Forget about desktop computers and expensive hardware, get this setup and rock your socks off. I can made professional recordings with this and be totally satisfied.

OK

Quite useful IF you have the latest bluetooth.
With this, I love to be able to use my mobile apps or perform computer program changes by feet. Otherwise you'd need to stop playing, right?
Connectivity can be improved. Not very straightforward. Also would be good to have a firmware update which may allow to use on older bluetooth too.

It's Ok

Overall its not that bad. The rubber buttons are not such a great idea, at time it does not press or it presses twice. After a firmware update its a bit better. Not a great feedback on the buttons.

P
Excellent almost silent foot controller, perfect for acoustic recording
Peegeebee 08.02.2021
If like me you want to control your DAW to use as a looper pedal for acoustic guitar (and other instruments), the Blueboard is perfect, either for iOS or on Mac (and presumably on PC). The first version, which shipped with 1.0 firmware doesn't work with Mac, and the firmware updater is notoriously unreliable, so make sure to buy it new (for instance here on Thomann) rather than secondhand. The unit is all plastic and therefore isn't maybe up to the standard needed for a live gig, but for the home recording musician, it's brilliant, light, easy to set up and works great with most DAWs, guitar effects apps, etc, with a separate app that allows the re-routing of midi signals to the required destinations. For anyone looking for a truly full-featured (and very robust) alternative, the Xsonic Airstep is a marvel, but, especially when loop recording, its noisy click foot control buttons possibly make it more suitable for DI recording than for acoustic instruments.

Spongy cheap feel
Press K 09.07.2021
The buttons are spongy and don’t give you nearly enough feedback for the chaos of live performance. Haven’t had issues with connection but the software is a bit cumbersome and slow to work with.

Great for fooling around at home. Batteries last forever.
