I was looking for a way to delve into some analog wavefolding and am very happy with the results I'm getting from the Bifold/DOC combo. The parallel AND serial options let me play with both Buchla and Serge flavors. It's such a change from the various flavors of subtractive and FM synthesis I've been used to for the past 30 years.

On an intimately related note, while waiting for the Bifold I also got a "Capt Big O" just to muck about with. The three combined made a perfect trifecta and excellent foundation for a wavefolding skiff that will satisfy my curiosity for a long time to come.
