The Roland RX17 piano comes without an adequate music stand. It is fine for music books which are rigid enough to support themselves but not single sheets of manuscript.
Pros: The Jahn Pianopad looks good on this piano and does not detract from the overall appearance. The rubber strip at the bottom, the clear plastic edge strips and transparent self adhesive pads protect the high gloss finish of the piano. It is a good size and takes three sheets of music easily. A well finished product which was shipped with plenty of protective packaging.
Cons: It is a minor irritation to have to remove and replace the music stand every time the piano opened but that is Roland's fault not Jahn's.
It is necessary to put two sets of adhesive pads on the back if you wish to use the Pianopad with the top lid both opened and closed. You may need to purchase additional pads. It is expensive for what it is (flat sheet of clear 3mm acrylic, 67cm x 33cm with rounded corners plus self adhesive clear pads and a small amount of split tubing).
