This can revive any practice amp imho. It is a great little speaker. It seems better optimized and is much louder than the stock pickup in the VOX valvetronics 20+ at the same settings. At first it was a little bit muddy and stiff, but the more you use it, the better it sounds.
It does sound more american than british, however, that can be altered with a little bit of EQ if you are into more british type sound.
One issue I have with mine is that it is not perfectly flat. When tightened it starts to rattle so I have to leave one of the screws loose for it to sound good.
