Having looked at a number of small amp heads from the likes of Orange and, er..... Orange, I'd seen the Joyo range reviewed on Thomann's Youtube channel. It's worth viewing to see which amp type suits your playing sound/ style best.
The Atomic is really versatile. The clean channel is super clear with the gain turned down. and just a hint of break-up with the gain turned up when you dig in. Your drive pedals will work great going into the front.
The drive channel gives you a classic British (AC) crunch sound and works well with the tone control, allowing you to dial in some classic AC tones.
The real bonus to these amp heads is the effects loop. I use a looper and reverb pedal and the fidelity and quality of the sound is fantastic. And for a 20 watt amp there is plenty of power/volume, adequate enough for playing live at a small gig.
The only disadvantage I can see is having no EQ to shape the sound. That being said, the sound straight out is pretty well balanced, and for this price, these things are tonnes of fun.
