A real 3 way speaker, full active, with a coaxial midrange. I can't believe Kali managed to build one at this price. If have the space for a speaker of this size, it beats the virtually all others, hands down. Great tonal balance, nice output levels, friendly price. And this is irrespective of price! My other speaker cost 5 digits. Kali should consider releasing this one in white, with shorting rings, and a Bluetooth/Airplay receiver for home use. Winner winner chicken dinner!

Exceptional Nearfield Monitors with Balanced Sound and Versatile Tweaking

As someone who has used a lot of nearfield monitors over the years, I have to say that the Kali Audio IN-8 2nd Wave monitors are a cut above the rest. We recently purchased a pair of these monitors, and I have been blown away by their performance.

The sound of these monitors is incredibly well-balanced, with a clarity and detail that is hard to match. They have excellent translation, which means that the mix you hear on these monitors is likely to sound great on other playback systems as well.

The tweaking backend on these monitors is also exceptional. You have a lot of control over the sound, with options to adjust the high and low frequencies, as well as the overall volume. This level of versatility allows you to fine-tune the sound to your specific needs and preferences.

A month of using these monitors, I will tell you my opinion Decent professional-level monitors at a low cost! It should be noted right away that monitors do not perform best in small rooms such as a home studio in a room, but are designed for more serious prepared rooms. This is due to the presence of 8 "speakers and a rather impressive power - in total they are capable of delivering 140 W of pure sound. In terms of sound, the monitors produce a fairly even spectrum throughout the entire frequency range!

Kali Audio IN-8 2nd Wave

I am a college student from China. As a student, I recommend this monitor speaker. The price is not high, the sound is good, and the price/performance ratio is very high. The sound almost shocked me in the price. The sound can be so stable and the price is relatively Yes, it is still three-way speakers and coaxial monitors. I like this design. I have used all black technology, and the sound is also very good. I have already recommended it to my friends.

I've been using Yamaha HS7's for the longest time, I stared building another studio and decided to use these as my near fields, I did a Sound ID reference calibration, and the suggested EQ correction curve was so slight that it almost did not seem necessary .

Leaves nothing to be desired

Disclaimer: I am a beginner when it comes to recording equipment, but I am playing guitar since 20 something years, also in a professional capacity.

These speakers make a great homesetup for me to record and mix guitar stuff coming out of my kemper going into a Focusrite interface.
I am thinking with this setup the next time we produce a record I can do all guitar recording at home which is really awesome :)
Also build quality and overall feel of the speakers is really good. I think for the price point of below 1000€ this is really the best choice one can make. Did some A/B testing with other models at a friends place and the Kali speakers really stood out in terms of clarity and adapting linearly to equalizing settings

I bought these speakers after reading positive reviews of them, and also the other Kali powered monitors.

At around £650 for a pair these are the most expensive monitors I have yet bought (they are for a home studio). A three way design splits the bass and mid drivers which means these speakers have good lows and a clear mid-range.

I have used cheaper powered monitors (Yamaha HS5 and Mackie MR624) and these are definitely a step in quality. They are quite large and therefore I have them on stands around 1.5m from my listening position.

They go plenty loud enough and have sufficient low end that I don't feel the need to use a sub-woofer.

A great pair of speakers that I am really happy with.

I've purchased a pair of KALI IN-8 2nd Wave monitors after using JBL LSR305s for a long time and the difference is huge, I can mix on the KALIs with precision and confidence, these are the best value 3-way monitors you can get!
