Heavy duty music stand
GordonC 13.02.2014
These stands are very strong and are good to hold heavy music outside in strong winds. The only serious design fault they have is that you need to tighten the pivot nut to an unbelievable level or it will fall down when you least expect it (when using a heavy book or folder with over 200 pages). They extend very high indeed if needed for a split level stage or if you are a giant, but they are perfectly good at normal heights when seated. Heavy to carry 4 of them for a quartet and you need a large bag with wheels to carry them around.

A
Firm but also heavy
Anonymous 25.06.2015
This music stand is for those who really wish to put something heavy on it. It surely will support the stuff, no problem. It's sturdyness also makes it inpractical to carry around. It won't work in touring since it's so much bigger than any other music stand (even when collapsed to the smallest possible form). You need a separate bag for it.

JO
Very sturdy

Very solid, sturdy stand. Great if you're using large music books/gig folders. It is very heavy though so not really for taking it out and about.

R
Solid music stand
Ralphos 07.06.2022
It's not yet high end, but it is a premium, high quality music stand. Very solid, made of thick bars and thick pipes. Pretty heavy too... When extending it, each section has a hard stop, there is no way one out of another. The sheet holder has a pretty wide tray. It requires some force to open, but it then stays rock solid. The legs are strong and the whole stand is very, very stable. The only disadvantages are the weight and the folded length.
The reason I bought this stand is that it is very tall. I play the tenor saxophone. I'm tall and most of the stands make me stoop down. This stand is tall enough, the sheets are presented at my eye level. Brilliant!
