K&M 11580 Power- Magnet

These magnets are super strong and if you're in a place with a lot of wind it's the paper that will tear up! :)

They are ncie and have a nice shape.

They are so strong that when you come close to the metal, it is suddenly attarcted to it and therefore make a noise when they come in contact with the metal.
But with some experience (3 minutes :) ) you can just put them silently.
The trick is to put only the edge of the magnet first and then slowly slowly the rest of it.

How did I ever manage to use sheet music without these little wonders? Every once in a while I need to take a music stand on stage with some loose sheets of lyrics and/or chords for some new songs I haven't memorized yet. Usually they end up on the floor sooner rather than later.
Well, no more. These powerfull magnets holds even a thick(ish) wad of papers firmly in place. They are small but they never get lost. Long after any given gig they can be found attached to some metal-cased equipment. You just have to look carefully :)

Strong magnets for holding paper to the music stand

I love these magnets. I stick up to ten pages of notes to my hi hat stand with just one of these bad boys and never have any issues with them falling. Also good for busking if you want to stick a set list to a stand.

Very simple and practical solution to the flapping manuscripts problem. Not strong enough to hold down books of course, but for individual sheets or small scores they work fine. The great thing is you can attach them permanently to the stand and move them around as and when. Can also be used for attaching notes.
