Stability can be improved if having a middle truss on your stand otherwise could do with an extra 2mm for super stability. But who needs it really?
Unless you're going to use extreme heavy equipment such as old school synths this is going to be fine. You should be fine applying as much as 4kg loads on the overhanging edges without much bend in the middle.
If planning to use heavy DJ kit such as 10kg per scratch unit, do expect to see a change in it's shape, especially as you'll be close to it's max load of 30kg.
