K&M 18811 Black

Pros:

These are build very well and are quite sturdy. The level adjustment via the spring loaded knob is a thing of beauty.

Cons:

The angle adjustment is woefully obtuse and wholly inflexible. This is the very definition of Overengineering. It requires a ridiculous amount of effort to adjust the angle and the maximum angle is very shallow. The angle adjustment is a 100% FAIL in my book.

Really stable and high quality add-on for K&M stand.
Strong and well made connectors and sturdy material.

Reason i put 4 stars, i could not turn the angle enough to fit my needs, it does not move much actually. Quite a big flaw for me, so 4 star product for me.

Ich habe auf dem K&M Omega 18810 Keyboardstaender einen MS 20 und habe dazu den Aufsatz 18811 gekauft, auf dem ich meinen Microkorg platziert haben. Ich war sehr überrascht, dass sich der Aufsatz so hoch einstellen lässt, so dass mein MS 20 noch drunter passt und nicht überdeckt wird. Hinzu kommt, dass man die Arme so anwinkeln kann, dass das obere Keyboard noch sehr leicht zu bedienen ist.

Alles in allem ist das K&M 18811 sehr clever durchdacht, bietet viele Einstellungsmoeglichkeiten und ist dazu auch noch robust.

I use these extensions (3 sets, complete with K&M 18810 Black) in my studios. in almost 30 years of playing keyboards i tried all kinds of stands and this was my definite choice for a "keeper". My workflow is better than ever, the possibilities almost endless. A definite winner,

I wish more of my musical and studio needs were built with the same level of quality and attention to detail. Sturdy as I need and after a 1.5 years still going strong. The only small issue is that even when the adjustment knobs are tightened all the way, there is slight movement of the arms. I didn’t expect this and it doesn’t really affect anything, but I figured it would be locked in 100%. Still though, best company for this stuff. Saw them at NAMM and I’m hoping to add more K&M soon. Can’t recommend any higher!

Easy to set up.

A simple useful mount that I've been using to hold my laptop while practicing. Also helps a lot to keep things tidy. Also sometimes put my lighter synths in here which is neat how I can access both my synth and keyb at the same time.

I bought this with a K&M 18810 table. The bars at the bottom of these stick out a lot more than the keyboard holders that came with the table. I always bang into this because it is sticking out from under my keyboard (I think there may be another version that is better suited to the 18810 table but this isn't very clear). Holds my desktop synth securely with soft plastic to avoid scratching and is easy to adjust.

I am very happy with K&M products. Made in Germany, rock solid heavy duty quality. Good value too!
Your synthesizers and keyboards remain super stable. Easy to adjust. And I love the expandability of the Omega series!
