Finally a steady stand!
SubTrailss 13.12.2021
I brought this stand to replacing my old one. The last one I had was terrible, unstable and impossible to setting. The K&M made my life easier, A LOT. Expecially when I use it for recording acoustic guitars and flip the microphone upside down! If you need to move your stand in all moves possibles, i recommend this one!

Stable and secure with extra reach.
Electricbacfac 27.08.2019
Very good quality heavy duty tall mic stand. I have 3 and use them regularly. I'd never trust expensive mic's to a cheap stand. These will never fall over and they have a good amount of height. No telescopic boom arm is my only criticism. They are excellent for placing recording mic's on location when you need that extra height without needing a giant stand.

Sturdy except in challenging environments
Anonymous 09.02.2017
This is a heavy, solidly built, tall stand. It is great for drum overheads, which I primarily use it for. For 90% of uses it excels.

However, at my practice room I have tested its limitations. The floorboards there bounce under pressure. This stand then wobbles from the base. When this stand is still you can test this by gently pushing it. Even when securely tightened it gently wobbles from the base. But this is only an issue if the stand is made to move in the first place.

I am happy with this stand. To get absolute stability in my unfavourable room I would need to go to the final tier of microphone stands with the most solid bases.

Very sturdy and heavy!
Novusuhu 28.07.2020
If you use heavy overhead mics on drums these stands are the way to go!

I use them to hold my Rode NT1000's, used for drum overheads.
When extending the stand and boom arm at their max, they still can hold the NT1000's without any problem.
The area where you put the stand must be stable, when used in this extreme situation!

Mic Stand - Built like a tank
kzadar94 31.10.2022
Heavy and solid. I have 3 of these, will probably get at least one more. Safe for all microphones at almost any extension. These could be used for standing performers as well, although they are a little large. The long solid legs make them rock solid. Good price/performance

PI
Fantastic stands
PT Instructor 10.02.2020
Can't go wrong with K&M and these are fantastic quality stands, taller and sturdier than your average mic stand, I need to get microphones up high and these are great for outriggers or as overhead on a drum kit. Can't recommend these highly enough, I'll be back for more. 5 year guarantee too but you won't need it.

R
Very sturdy high enough stand. Excellent for stage.
Rhymebeg 17.11.2022
Pros: Height up to 3m for capturing sound from above an acoustic instrument on stage. Tripod legs lay relatively low on the ground so it is easier to step over. Despite this, the tripod stays firmly.
Cons: Weights 6.2Kg
