Most stereo bars (Manfrotto or the smaller K&Ms) do just fine for most classical recording setups, but sometimes you need to go larger (orchestral, organ) and you don't want the hassle of using more microphone stands. I have several of these, and they have served me very well so far. K&M quality, so very well made.

Highly professional stereo bar
Stefano G. 15.09.2020
Well, there's not too much to say about this articole: it works flawlessly and I did many recordings with that and two omni mikes. It's sturdy and won't be broken after the first few gigs.
Would definitely recommend it.

Solid bar, good value, flexible spacing.
Anonymous 19.03.2017
Well this is more than just a stereo bar!
You can connect 6 devices with the 6 screws if you like.
I have the bar mounted on my sound cart using a Manfrotto clamp and the top of a mic stand which is quick to raise and lower for moving through doorways. The mic stand screws into the mid point of the bar using a standard 3/8 thread.
I use the bar to hold 2 radio mic antenna but I could also use it to hold 2 omni atoms mics.
The length of the bar means its handy if you want to space the mics or antenna further apart.
The one problem I found were the length of the screws, they were too long so that even when a device was screwed on all the way it was still loose on the bar so I had to add string or rubber washers to fill the gap and stabilise the device to the bar. Also the rubber washers could keep the screws in place on the bar when nothing is screwed into them.
I am happy with the purchase but don't know why K&M made the screws so long! Its a good strong bar!!

Great tool
Illusionaire 25.09.2020
Ideal for multimic setups. Very useful for stereo miking instruments like piano, or A-B overheads on drums. Also I am planning to combine it with a second bar for a DECCA setup. If needed, it can take up to six mic's on one stand if needed. Finally, if positioned vertically, it is great to hold a pair of ribbons for blumlein setup.
It is very well built, sturdy and easy to setup.
