You will still stub your toes
Jyde D. 28.03.2018
That's one thing that is really annoying about seats and various type of stands, the legs always stick out too far so I have painfully stubbed my toe many a time on these low level protrusions when walking by. The seat cushion is nice and firm springing back to shape instantaneously when relived of bulk, so you can tell it?s not going to become deformed anytime soon. There is also a lot of adjustment variation on its height. It is a shame that the seat itself doesn?t swivel. This lack of flexibility makes it feel a bit too rigid especially when working at a broad worktop where you have to turn about 60 degrees each way to access various gadgets. It feels a bit too inflexible and rooted to the ground. But I suppose that depends on what type of functions you are performing. I have therefore given it only 4 stars for stability because it is too rigid and stable. I can?t seem to stop the seat itself from dipping forward at an angle even though the lock mechanism is tightly clamped. It seems there is a recommended procedure for achieving this in the assembly instructions which I will need to look up. Other than all this, it would have been 100% perfect.

AP
Stage Seat
Allison P. 13.09.2013
Purchased the seat to use at gigs for those quiet moments, to balance against during the performance or for acoustic gigs. Its an absolute gem!! Totally sturdy and reliable. This simple seat has obviously been carefully designed for purpose as it is unimposing, easy to use, fit got purpose and folds up for easy storage. Not the cheapest option for the gigging musician but I would imagine being hard pressed to source anything better without moving inept the world of bespoke seating. I would whole heartedly advise anyone looking for the all round gig stool to go for this baby from K&M. Excellent.

P
Very comfortable and well-built
Patrick1329 22.01.2015
I have this stool for a year now and I'm very happy with it. It's very well constructed, the fabric-covered seat is extremely comfortable and encourages one to sit in a more upright, comfortable posture. The mechanisms all work well and it folds into an easily transportable unit. It comes almost fully assembled, you just need to fix the foot rests. That's a simple job, and they even include a spanner. My one disappointment is that the rubber pads on the foot rest are starting to wear. I do use this about three or four times a week, but I still think they should be harder wearing than that. One other tip, is that you should glue the rubbers onto the base. They have slipped off on me a few times and I was lucky to be able to retrieve them. All in all, I highly recommend this.

B
Great stool for guitar playing
Bambus 28.01.2017
Easy to put together, good comfort when sitting, but the legs was not in level with the floor, making it kind of "wigly". But when sitting on it and adding bodyweight this evens out the legs somehow, so it gets better. I may could have returned it for another one, but I didnt bother because of too much hassle sending it back and waiting for another one. All in all a really comfortable stool.
