I bought the grill because of the kids. It looks very sturdy and the magnets (keeping it in place) are amazingly strong.

I still haven't got chance to listen to music via my speakers (still haven't set up the desk), but I believe there shouldn't be any problem because the grill seems carefully designed and distanced enough from the cones.

Fits perfectly.
There is no contact either from the front or from the side.It may appear to be in contact when viewed from the wrong angle.I looked with the flash, no contact, there is a gap.
