Let down by poor machine heads

I wanted a cheap classical guitar to try as a change of pace from playing electric and settled on this after a bit of research. On the plus side it looks and sounds pretty good and is easy to play with a pretty decent action out of the box. However, my biggest concern was the tuning stability. It really struggled to stay in tune during an extended practice session and I would always need to tune it before playing. Compared to a similarly priced Harley Benton (that I bought my stepson) the tuning stability is far inferior. Perhaps I was unlucky and got one that was below normal QC levels. Sadly it ruined the guitar for me and I ended up getting rid of it.

Sie klingt "voll" nach klassischer Gitarre, keines blechern / tinny (voller als manche teurere Ortega). Sicher nichts für den Klassikgitarristen im Bühneneinsatz, aber ich wollte den Sound, ohne klassisch spielen zu können oder zu wollen.

"Systembedingt" ist allerdings das Stimmen zunächst eine gewisse Tortur, verglichen mit E-Gitarre und Steelstring. Die Stimmwirbel sind allerdings ok, laufen leicht und regelmäßig.

Ich habe mich nach längerem suchen und vergleichen für diese Gitarre entschieden, da sie mir optisch am besten gefallen hat. Ich wollte eine Gitarre mit Wiedererkennungswert und nicht im Standard-Hellbraun. Ich muss sagen, die Gitarre ist im Original sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Die Verarbeitung ist auch sehr gut und der Klang ist super. Die Mechanik lässt sich auch gut bedienen und verstellt sich nicht.
Wer also eine Gitarre haben will, die ein echter Hingucker ist und auch noch schön klingt, sollte sich dieses wunderschöne Stück zulegen.
