L'enceinte LD Systems Roadman Slave est, comme son nom l'indique, une enceinte esclave. Elle permet d'avoir un second point de diffusion de son mais n'est en aucun cas autonome : elle ne peut se brancher que sur l'enceinte maîtresse (pas de micro en direct sur l'enceinte slave).
Elle a l'avantage de ne pas nécessiter de source de courant autonome.
C'est donc bien une enceinte passive.
