I use this one for MIDI data transfer between a computer and a sound module. Right at the beginning, computer was not able to connect and after I plugged it and unplugged it two, three times it worked. It might be that the length is on the edge to be too long for a USB connectiom. I would not use it for audio interfaces but for a MIDI transfer it is good enough.
