I initially purchased a G10 Relay, announced with 8hours+ of battery life.
However, my receiver was already flashed with the latest firmware from Line6, and in reality the battery life was around 1h30, which is way too short for my usage.
This relay in comparison provides a much longer autonomy.
May be not 8 hours, but 6 easilly, which for me is perfect as it's roughly the autonomy of my Amp's battery.
I hope that Line6 will not release a new firmware which will change this later....
- Works out of the box with Yamaha THR30 II Wireless without the need of the base
- The transmitter fits perfectly in a Yamaha YEV-104 and feel very light on the shoulder !
Edit : after less than 2 years of usage (read : plugged on a desktop and never moved in 2 years), the device is completely unusable.
The usb connector used to power the base is of very poor quality.
When plugged, the usb cable has a bit of free play, which is often enough to prevent charging the transmitter, or simply power off the base while playing.
When the base remains on, there is frequently electrical noise in the signal chain, which make the whole playing experience quite annoying.
Don’t waste your hard-earned money on this device, instead opt for the G10SII, slightly more expensive, but with dedicated power plug.
