These are my favorite strap locks. They are effortless to get on and off, and there's no way these come off by themselves (even if the nut comes loose they'll hold your instrument until you click them off).
They're also very small and sleek and come in different finishes.

However, do keep in mind that you won't be able to use any strap that doesn't have the lock installed (so you can't just borrow someone else's strap).
And there's only one length of screws included (which happens to be slightly short for my Prestige Ibanez). If this screw is too thick or too short, you don't get the option to use your guitar's screw. It holds my guitars just fine, but I would have preferred having 2 different lengths of screw included in a set.

Other than these two gripes, it's a fantastic product.

Buying Schaller strap locks has become an expense experience so i was looking for a cheaper way to secure my guitars.
I have tried the HB locks, the Warwick locks, some noname chinese locks - but all of them seem to have their own disabilities. They are difficult to open, difficult to separate, they makes a lot of noise sitting down, so i hoped these were somewhere in between…. But… no..
Well they are ok to work with on a daily basis but they still “play along” with the guitar sitting down when there is no stretch on the strap from the weight of the guitar…..
i guess sometimes you have to spend more to get simple wishes fulfilled

I always had standard strap locks for my guitars whether it's bass or electric guitar. Well, before this one i used standard fender telecaster american deluxe strap locks. And those are definitely suck in comparison with these strap locks. First thing first the colour. It comes in three colours: Black, Chrome and Nickel. Me personally chose black one. And it would look amazing on any guitar you put those on. It comes with it's own screw driver so it's not that hard to install it. It also says that it can pull out force above 220 lbs, at least sounds cool. And yeah it says no rusting which is really good, because i heard some stories that standard strap locks can rust after couple of years. At least i can say it 100% in couple of years. So finally do i recommend these strap locks? 100% yes. May be there are some good strap locks to choose, but you won't definitely lose if you get these one. It looks cool, strong, comfortable and you don't need to worry if it's fell out which is usually classic story with standard strap locks. With these one you can just forget about these things.

It is an awesome lock. Works safe and perfect if installed properly. I use it on a heavy handmade bass, hanging on leather strap.
But one must make sure to put it on a strap which is not too thick. For thicker straps buy a longer thread version. The main point is to screw the nut to the level when it lets the ball enter the lock deep enough. Otherwise secure lock might not be guaranteed.
Also keep in mind that ball-end screws fit most of the basses, however, it is too thick for Yamaha TRB JP bass. One might need delicate carpenter's intervention.
10/10 would Secure Lock again.
