If you are well into tambourines you have to come up with a different method. This one holds up to the rigors of bashing and banging so it is sturdy but make no mistake the tambourine sound is way too weak. It will get lost especially if you are using larger drums. They should re-design this with two levels of discs. It is okay to have around as is and that's it.

I bought this product after being impressed by the LP Youtube demo. I didn't find it particularly responsive to my playing on the hi-hat stand. As a result I don't use it a lot. I will be looking at another option for a drum set tambourine. What a waste of money!
