A little bit mixed...

I use this stand alongside a matching Mapex double bass pedal, and I guess that's where my problems with this stand start and end. More on that later - I'll start with the good stuff:

It's a pretty stable stand and doesn't walk at all during playing, everything fits together snugly and it feels good quality.

On to the not so good bits...

Even on the lightest tension setting, there's a clunky noise when I take my foot completely off the foot board. I play double bass pedals; I take my foot off the plate fairly often. It's not a loud clunk, but nor is it musical, so can be annoying if there's silence at the time. If you're a not a double bass player, you probably wouldn't notice this.

I thought that the swivel tripod would let me place my two left-foot pedals right next to each other, but swivelling the tripod to accommodate this, the leg on the left of the pedals is too close and gets in my way. I resolved this by removing one of the legs and clamping the stand to my drum rack. Now it's pretty much perfect.
