If you are tired of carrying your heavy bass cab around but still want a 4x10, this is the cab for you. It doesn't sound as good or as loud as my EBS 4x10 Proline but I'm willing to make the compromise for its amazing portability. I'm using a Markbass Big Bang Head and have used the VLE and VPF controls a alot for the first time to get the sound I am after beyond the normal EQ controls.

Ich wollte unbedingt 'ne 4x10 Bass Box und hab Wochenlang überlegt ob es die richtige Entscheidung ist. Hab den Darkglass Alpha·Omega 900 Bass Head und bin begeistert von der Kombination. Ich mag den Sound der Mark Bass Boxen sehr gern und hab meine Entscheidung noch keine Sekunde bereut. Die Cab ist wirklich sehr leicht zu Tragen und klingt trotzdem wie ein Schwergewicht. Die Verarbeitung ist Top, Die Box sieht einfach mega aus, bis auf das riesige Logo (kann man leicht abmontieren) und steckt einiges an groben Transport weg. Möchte jetzt noch die passende 2x12 unter den Würfel bauen. Leute ich sag euch "ich liebe es!"

Es sorprendente lo liviano que es este gabinete. la verdad es que lo recomiendo absolutamente para contrabajístas que busquen tener un excelente equipo en casa y que ocupen mucho el arco para tocar (siempre es difícil encontrar un amplificador y gabinete que responda bien a estas características). yo soy de Colombia y lo compre por la web de Thomann, llego sin ningún problema, muy rápido, solo en una semana ya estaba en mi casa disfrutando de este magnifico equipo.

Die Box kommt in einem Karton, den der Paketbote schonmal mit gestreckten Armen zugereicht hat.

Die Energy Box ist so ultraleicht, man glaubt es kaum, man kann sie zur Not auch mit einer Hand tragen. Die Flächen sind mit (hartem) Flock belegt, angenehm anzufassen, die Ränder und Ecken sind aus angenehmem Kunststoff, der aber sehr dick ist und mindestens so stabil wirkt wie die klassische Holz-Kunststoff-Kombination. Die Bassreflexöffnungen sind auf der Rückseite und sehr schmal, so dass die Box äußerst kompakte Abmaße hat.

Und sie klingt, wie man es von einer modernen 4x10-Kombination erwartet, ungemein druckvoll und kompakt, mit harmonischen Höhenanteil durch das Horn. Dessen Absenkung durch Kippschalter(-kombinationen) auf der Rückseite ist angemessen gestaltet. Der Bassdruck ist phänomenal, wie ich bislang auf zwei Gigs (große Band) und im Proberaum erfahren konnte, der Sound fügt sich gut ein und bildet gut ab, was der Verstärker so hergibt.

Die Box ist also ihr Geld wert und die 16kg, die sie wiegt, machen einen richtig glücklich.
