Ever since I got one set of these on my first Martin, I couldn't go back to Elixirs. This set gives me enough tension to have projection, while still being able to bend and do vibratos comfortably.

They sound great on my D18, last quite well and age gracefully. I used to only play John Pearse strings but gave these a try (just to round up an order for free shipping) and now would happily use either.
