Meinl Bamboo Brush

These are very good for an alternative sound from an acoustic kit. Not as flexible as regular wire brushes on a drum head. Somewhere between a brush and a rod, they definitely have their own character and texture. Work well on cymbals to produce a soft/mellow tone, in my opinion much better than regular brushes, because of wood to metal rather than metal to metal contact. These should be in a stick back at the ready.

Bought these to experiment with my sound. High quality, durable (for its purpose, not for bashing!) and earthy / organic-sounding. They can add a unique sound and feel to different genres of music.
