I like the foot cabasa, it's a great idea and the damping of the beads is also adjustable. Unfortunately controlling the volume is not very easy. Also the base is not usable on a wooden surface, would have been nice if it had rubber feet like most pedals do.

Great concept. Loud volume

I bought the foot cabassa in order to use it when playing cajon.
It definitely adds a lot to my sound.
The only drawback is that it's too loud so it's difficult to use it when recording my cajon as it "bleeds" heavily on all the mics.
In live situations it's just fine and in small venues it cuts out even without going through the PA.
Also, you can't move the cabassa (i.e. from left to right) which would be very helpful.
