Great sounding cymbals for beginners

I bought these to replace the cymbals that came with the Mapex Tornado kit I bought from here which was great but the cymbals were lacking. Fortunately, these cymbals made up for that and very inexpensively too!

The hi-hat sounds great, very bright and crisp and the ride crash combo cymbal is adequate although it is very resonant. I had to dampen it with some Moongels otherwise it would ring out for too long but once I did that it sounded brilliant.

These cymbals are perfect for a beginner or intermediate player on a budget who's looking to get a professional-sounding cymbal set. Next time I would probably get the version with the crash included as well, however.
