I don't know what the supplied head is, but its highly treated. Some kind of wax coating. There is a Brazilian trick where you apply tape underneath to damp it. This is impossible since nothing sticks. A new head transformed the sound. Also the construction is very heavy and the jingles are like iron.
Its ok, but if you can buy a lighter one from Brasil you would be better off.
