So you have got a serious amount of knobs and sliders already in front of you! This was the case for me! All i wanted was a slim yet slick midi keyboard, with several octaves, in this case 61 keys. This fitted the bill perfectly and I am delighted with its performance, and it is a neat fit into my workstation. I have used this keyboard with Several D.a.w's including Reason 7 & Ableton live 9 and even with some Ipad apps. In all cases it worked superb, just plug & play! So if it is just the keys you are after you need look no further. If you need knobs and sliders my personal suggestion would be something like Novation Launchkey or on the higher end of things there is the Panorama P6 by Nektar. Other wise this Miditech 2-61 is the basic essential for any studio.

Good for its price.

When I first got it, I needed to get used to it. Im still learning with it but sofar this is my review:
I like it's design alot, its flat and slick, its not filled with too many buttons so it looks very nice on my desk. A point of complaint is how the keys feel a little too plasticy for me. You need to play alot on it to make the keys a bit looser, because when you first get it they might be a little unresponsive.
For its price I can definitely recommend it, however!!

better than expected

I needed a keyboard for a project and didn't want to spend much money
This came with everything I needed, plugged into my computer and I was up and running in ten minutes.
Good build quality, 61 full size keys which felt as good as the more expensive keyboards I'd tried in local music stores.
At this price you can't go wrong
I'd recommend 100%

Pretty Good

I heard someone say it is comparable to Roland PC-300. I agree to that. Pretty good, works fine though the keys are a little stiff in the beginning
