Nice addition but not great
Liam91 15.11.2022
I use this for my silent crash in my teaching studio. It does the job but would not use this for my own kit. Its great for small spaces, and if you want the crash above your hi tom etc.
Don't get me wrong I've had a couple over the years when my kit has been in tight rooms. For that it does the job. But it always feels loose, even after tightening it as much as it can, there's always a little give. Would recommend for beginners, but if you've been playing a while and are use to quality cymbal stands, invest bit more, and you'll get more for your money.

If you want a cheap cymbal arm...this is for you!
Not bad, just difficult to block... you must to be very strong for block it... Or you can use the sticks...😉

Does the job
Anonymous 28.06.2016
I've had 16" medium crashes on this. 14" thin splashes. Think I once put a 20" ride on it, but the gears on the angle adjustment clamp aren't really up to it, they get loose really quick and need checking constantly.

I don't like the way it bites the chrome of anything you tighten it down onto, but there isn't really a cheaper option or a comparable product without spending a great deal more money.

I used it to mount a splash to the tom arms of the studio kit and it 'ate' the black powder coat. I'm glad it isn't on my kit and I'd feel cheeky mounting it to someone else's expensive kit.

I also don't like the fact the base plate which holds the bottom felt is basically a very thin washer, I can imagine that starting to keyhole easily and falling through the tiller rod. A fatter better grade washer is an easy improvement.

Again, a case of you get what you pay for, this is perfectly suitable for a range of situations, but pretty cheap and cheerful.

Not the best
richmill 26.06.2022
On a budget I was forced to get the cheapest I could find.
Totally does the job, and to be fair, after about 4 years of use these little arms are still working without problem.
The reason for giving them an average review score though, is that they are used in a school setting and so aren't moved around or adjusted very often at all. I am fairly sure that if I was a touring drummer, or even just setting up and packing down once a week for band rehearsal, then these little arms would soon start to fail.
In context of where and how I use them, they're fine, but I wouldn't recommend for gigging drummers.

Very cheap, boom arm slips
JakeLTMartin 22.04.2024
I'm well aware this is a value option but the one I received does not does not even do it's fundamental job. The cymbal stand clamp is fine but the boom arm clamp is weak and even when I tighten it "fully" my 12" splash starts slipping after about an hour's practice (I do hit my splash a couple of times pretty much every song). It is cheap though, and maybe you can live with regular adjustment - but I will be keeping it as an emergency spare only.

Good arm for this price
Notan Storm 08.02.2016
This arm hold my 10" Splash cymbal and clamp on tom holder.
Pros: low prise, lightweight, compact size
Cons: sometimes bolt become unscrewed when I play doublebass and cymbal drop and strike against tom hoop, plastic wing nut is not handy (but for this price it is ok).
I recommend this arm to drummers who want to expand the drumset with a small budget.

Decent quality for the price
Victor5117 21.10.2016
To be honest, it's good for an emergency but it's not very steady for permanent use.

I only use it when needed of a splash cymbal and it does the job.

However, when hit too hard it might move, since the fixation if not extremely steady.

Fine for the price
Anonymous 22.03.2016
Nice cheap addition to my set. Bought it for the splash cymbal. Sometimes it rotates to much, no matter how hard you tighten the screws. The nice thing about is that it will clamp ton any other stand, very adjustable. All in all very good for the price, it will be a nice addition if you have a splash cymbal.
