Good stand for the price.
Tom5570 30.05.2015
Purchased two of these stands to go on my practice kit and i have to say i am happy as they fulfill their roll. Very adjustable, they go up very high, they are perhaps a bit tall at the minimum setting for my liking, but I've learnt to live with this. On thing to note is that the screw at the top doubles as a cymbal protector and the threaded bit is therefore thinner than most stands and will not take regular wing nuts. Also make sure that you regularly tighten the small screw at the side of each 'level' as this is prone to loosening and falling out and therefore makes the stand swivel around.

Not great.
Timcul 03.01.2023
Ok so it is my fault, I really shouldn't have bought this stand, I was driven by cheap price and thought I would give it a go, it was for my 2nd drum kit, which I use sometimes and was a stand short as I didn't want to strip my studio kit which has little room in the studio.
The stand itself is shiny chrome, so that is a plus, but it is very and I mean very lightweight, the tubing is very thin, I could have used it for a light splash or 14in Crash, but it cymbal felts are very small, cymbal holder is very short and worst of all there is no plastic sleeves to protect cymbals from key holing. I recommend paying the extra for a more heavier stand like the Millenium CB-801 Pro Series Boom Stand with better cymbal felts and plastic protection, I was going to give it a 2 out of 5, but I have found a use for it, I am using it as a tom holder using a universal clamp.
If you can live with it being lightweight and possibility of key holing your cymbals then give it ago, if you hit you cymbals hard and use quality cymbals, pay a little extra for a stand.
Excellent quick service from Thomann as always.

I bought this stand 8 years ago along with Millenium CBS-718 Stage Boom Stand. Both still stand even they are used almost every weekend in all sort of weather conditions.
If anything goes wrong I'm buing these ones again.

Functional utilitarian stand
Paul1347 05.03.2017
What can I say about this really, I bought it together with a 16 paiste crash cymbal and bag.

It's quite heavy and solidly built, it came with the felts and screws it seemed relatively easy to Adjust and set to different heights, the tripod style legs were at a good angle making it very stable, which together with the weight makes sure it is not going to fall over.

It must be quite hardy as I carted it round on a cart with two acoustic guitars a small amp , the cymbal and a mike stand, it was setup outdoors indoors on grass and paving and was no trouble, and assembled and packed away quickly. If you are on a budget it is a no brainer to buy this. I recently sold it to a young lad just starting out drumming and he was very pleased with it and I imagine it will give him many years good service like it did me busking or at local jam nights

Affordable and it does the job quite well
Anonymous 14.03.2016
I bought three stands of this Millenium line (this one, one for Hit-Hats and another for a Ride Cymbal) for my first custom drum set.
Well, I must say that you usally get what you pay for: the stand isn't amazing but it does the job in a superb way. It stays in position and it's relatively easy to handle with the clamps.
The only complain I have is in the topper memory clamp - it resists to the movement, and got a little bit loose by now (probably because it has been used too many times).
You can perfectly use heavy cymbals. You may want to glue the rubbers on the bottom because they probably are going to fall.
The delivery was very good and quick. In this range of prices it's surelly one of the best options if you want a reliable stand for your cymbals.

Affordable, durable, Customizable

For what your paying, you get a quality stand with virtually no flaws. No its not as shiny or durable as Pearl hardware for example, but it sure as hell does the job for a fraction of the price!

Really Nice quality
Anonymous 01.03.2017
I bought this stand expecting to have very low quality due to the price. I was really surprised when I got i, just to realize it is really good!

I needed a new cymbal stand because the original that came with the drumset got broke, and when I saw this one for the price I gave it a shot. I must say it is really sturdy and can hold on to my drumming, where I bang my cymbals really hard.

I only play at home, so I cannot say if it will survive the gigs, but for now I'm really happy with it and would buy another one if needed.

Why pay more for a stand it this has what it takes for much less?

Bad quality

I bought this product in December for Christmas and in March it was broken. The key to put the cymbal on has broken and know I would have to buy a new one

It is a good quality stand for the price. Of course, it does not feel as sturdy as other stands (it is thin) but it does its job while playing and stays in place even if you play the crash a lot. For this price and if you look for a cheap solution this stand is the way to go.

At this Price I am Impressed!
Anonymous 15.07.2014
I initially bought this item in a hurry to use with the Millenium Multi-Clamp. I was looking for something that I could use on stage to support my Korg PadKontrol and this was the only item that I could find that wasn't overly expensive (the Roland alternative is around £80). I was initially concerned that, for the price, the stand may not be all that sturdy but having taken it on the road and used it a few gigs already I must say that I am VERY impressed with the stand so far. Everything feels solid and stable and the nuts/bolts etc feel very sturdy and long lasting.
I would recommend this and the clamp - especially in the bundle!
