I bought this item hoping it was a little better built. The metal block is simply poorly built. I kind of manage to anchor it to a stand but even if I apply lot of pressure in fighting the screws, still it is lose. Very bad. This item should not be sold. Don't by unless you are on a super tight budget.

Good stick holder that I use in my rehearsal room and sometimes live.
The clutch that holds it to the cymbal stand is not very stable, but you should be alright unless you constantly hit it.
Can hold at least 4 pairs of drumsticks
