For the purpose i use them they are excellent! Make cajons and build them in, they sound very good! Price and quality for my purpose are perfect! There is nothing cheaper at that price range, as i said they are good for cajon usage!

handy to have

I bought these to have as a spare and I used it and i got a cracking sound out of it , handy to have as a spare in the bag, i have used it long term now and going to use one on a piccolo snare and see how that sounds....

Perfect for the price

Bought this to replace the damaged snare on my young son's kit. Installation was straightforward enough and it sounds perfectly fine for what it is.
