It is heavy and stable and offers plenty of adjustment.
That said, he is good at finding weak spots [i.e: heavy-handed] and the plastic 'nut' under the 'basket legs' soon became weak and allowed the stand to slip out of adjustment.
I can't really recommend it for the above reason but it is possible that we got a bad example and others will not display the same weakness. It's for that reason that I have given it 3-stars ... on our own experience 1 star for quality and handling would be more appropriate.

Almost a nice snare stand
Gidi 12.12.2017
the delivery was great as always, but the stand is simply not so comfortable to use. it's not stable at all, as well as hard to pack into the hardware bag.

Depends by its use
Anonymous 30.06.2016
I used this stand with a small snare, both in a regular drum kit, and in a very small acoustic set.
Occasionally lost its balance, and it's also not so easy to regulate the angle of the main arm.
I would recommend it just if you plan to set it lower than usual, as I do in the acoustic set.

Secondary?
Anonymous 05.11.2014
I bought this stand for both my primary and secondary snare. Quite fast i found that it could be very unstable at hard playing. It works however fine as the secondary snare stand. Its a smart construction as you can play around a bit more and not allways having the stand beneath the snare. It mainly gets unstable when you do that. Eg. Shifting the mass of centre.

Heavy duty but timely to set up
HappyGilmore 08.07.2018
Very rugged but a little awkward to set up. The rotational adjustment on the basket clashes with the tube, so it can be awkward to set up. However, great value for weight and quality.

snare stand for 14" x 6,5"
Linards 25.01.2015
unfortunately really bad snare stand. Spent a lot of time to get right position for my snare and stability is so so. If you can manage to find right spot and your snare is not of big sizes than maybe you can avoid my problems but for my 14" x 6,5" it was not the best choice for stands.

Not quite what you think
Anonymous 18.01.2015
It looks like a solid and versatile stand, but doesn't quite extend as far as you think it should. It's also awkward to fold up, and isn't very versatile for incorporating into other stands, as the tilter is fixed to the boom.
Pretty solid-ly built though.

Screws very stubborn, not very reliable
Lmliddane 10.04.2022
Stand is built well, however to get this set up in a comfortable position and have it stay there is torturously difficult. You have to summon the power of Thor to tighten the nuts on this thing enough to stay in the position you set them.

Millenium DSS-818F Stage Snare Stand
Anonymous 30.09.2014
this is an ok stand. I think there is a pro class/version of this stand and I think that one probably is a lot better. I bought the pro hi-hat stand and that one is much better than the cheeper series that this item is from. I am not unhappy with this stand but I don't recommend this product
