Great quality for the price. Still new but easy to fold open/close, fits in most guitar case front pockets. Thick plastic with corrugated sides feels sturdy (not much flex) and the rubber contacting the guitar is grippy, no sliding. The downside, no clearance under the stand 'arms' means limited space for leads/straps on the guitar when used at a gig, awkward especially for Gtr's with side input jacks (if you like keeping gtr plugged in through breaks).

Light and Compact

The GS-2005 guitar stand is cheap, light and compact, fitting into the front pocket of my rockcase hardshell "gigbag". It is easy to set up and quite stable. In terms of quality, it easily compares to similar models from more expensive "name" brands. I highly recommend it!

Ga
Great stand.

Great stand that takes very little space when folded, and appears VERY similar to a more expensive brand.
Nice soft surface, I believe care should be taken with vintage finish guitars, but I’ve had no problem with a ‘75 Les Paul.
I’ve used both the solid electric and the acoustic version.
Perhaps not as stable as a full height stand, but the advantages of compact side are worth it.
Bargain.

Does the job it was intended to do

Nice compact little stand. Looks a little bit delicate and I would imagine it could easily be broken if used for gigging, but so far it is proving me wrong on that one

Very portable and light and supports guitars really well
Moogieman 10.07.2017
I love these. They're the lightest, most portable guitar stand and also the most effective one I've ever used - and that includes some fancy ones.

It also seems the most sturdy - metal ones always seem to bend or snap where the arms support the guitar.

This acoustic stand also works well with an electric so I'd get this one rather than the one designed for electrics if you need stands for both.

good for the price

But you get what you pay for. This is not a stand you want to use at home, but if you need an extra on stage this will do fine.

Useful and compact
WillO 03.05.2015
These are plastic, so not as sturdy as metal ones, but they do the job fine. They're light and fold up flat, so fit in a gig bag without weighing on top of your fragile acoustic guitar. I keep a few lying around for people to use.

If you stood on this, it might crack. If you're looking for a sturdier stand for gigging, the fold-up Hercules ones are excellent., for about twice the price.

Light and easy.
Al S. 14.05.2013
One of the most lightweight and easy to use stands. This acoustic stand also takes many mandolins and basses and electric guitars as well as lutes and baroque guitars. Very versatile. If you need to pack a lot, they are one of the most compact too. Great price.
