I bought this stand to supplement a Hercules GS412B for my spare bass. Whilst I liked the Millenium's neck locking mechanism better, the overall build quality just wasn't the same - it has now already been retired.

I would also say this is a bit of a stretch for a full size bass - I suspect this exacerbated the quality issues experienced. Had I been using it with an electric guitar, I think my experiences would have been happier.

My acoustic guitar accidentally fell forward standing on this thing... Manufacturer shoud think about vertical balance.
