My bandmates keep adopting my sh*t
Dirtnap 31.08.2017
Yet another one of those things that my bandmates suddenly think has been theirs all along. They are some cheap MFs, because this price for value CANNOT BE BEAT!

At first it seemed a bit flimsy, but that was just mistaken for lightweight. I suppose it would break if you purposefully let it fall unprotected from the back of a van, right on its top end, but this thing is sturdy - a good mix between the right materials and ingenuity.
Just put the guitar neck in the slot and let it go. Go ahead, let it go... Well, you should probably set it up to fit your needs first. Don't go dropping your full-sized electric bass in there after your bandmate has been using it for his electric, shredding, sport-striped guitar.

Probably in some way, this is some combination of borrowed ideas, but it works well! I've tried a few similar solutions. This one seems to have the best of all.
Sure there are other more compact solutions. But do you have a F-Jazz Bass? a Jazzmaster? a Jaguar? a jumbo Dreadnought? Or some other weird-shaped, lopsided, or oversized stringed, strumming thing? This is the answer to your question.

Surprisingly great
tzukanov 25.10.2021
I didn't expect that the stand will be that good. Great build quality, very stable. Suits perfectly any of my guitars: bass, strat, hollow body.
That's a no-brainer for that price. Probably gonna order a few more in the future.

KA
VFM solution if you have an odd shaped instrument or even a "regular" one
Konstantinos A. 01.11.2017
This stand is very light and I can't really comment on how it would stand the rigors on the road since I only use it in a studio, but the low weight might be misleading and it might just as well be sturdy.

I bought it so I could have a stand for my Epiphone Thunderbird since the odd shape isn't compatible with the typical stands and for that use it's perfect. Of course it can also be used with any instrument as long as the headstock isn't very thin and to my knowledge, hanging an instrument by the headstock is the best way for the instrument to rest so in that way it's better then the typical stand.

My only complaint is that the piece of foam that the back of the headstock rests could be thicker so that the instrument would get some distance from the plastic. I found that out when I tried hanging my 5-string Warwick Corvette, which has one machine head very close to the lower part of the headstock and instead of the instrument hanging from the litle rods as it should, some of the weight pushes the machine head against the plastic in the back of the stand. With thicker foam there, there wouldn't be an issue, but I can think of a couple of cheap modifications that could fix that.

Anyway...all in all, it's probably the cheapest stand in that style that you can get. My guess is that stands from Hercules or K&M would be (or at least feel) sturdier, but they cost much more and that doesn't mean that this stand is bad at all. Personally, if I was using it on the road constantly and if I had a very expensive instrument, I would probably try out some of the more expensive stands just to feel more safe, but for the studio and some light/medium giging, this is great.

Forgot to mention... Bonus points for the very compact size when collapsed. It isn't shown in the photos, but this stand occupies very little space when collapsed, with nothing noticeably sticking out.

EN
Well assembled guitar stand
Egor N 09.02.2022
This stand was bought for my first guitar, so I can not compare it with others. But for this price I think it has very good quality. Height without legs is 94 cm, so it useful for very long guitars(about 110 cm without head). For so big guitars it becoming a bit less stable, but only a bit

Great Value
Donnacha 06.11.2017
I bought this for on stage to hold my fender jazz bass. I liked it because i can simply lift off the guitar without the strap getting caught or having to unhook the neck etc.

Pros:
-The product works perfectly and is easy to assemble
- its very stable with a wide footprint. the guitar always feels safe.
- the head adjusts to fit any guitar

Cons:
- The only thing is that I dont think i would take heavy road use. It might not be as sturdy as its more expensive counter parts. But for me as I play in a two piece once a week, its absolutely perfect.

I highly recommend this product for both home and light gigging use.

Great stand for all kinds of odd shaped guitars
NikolayK 19.01.2019
I bought the guitar for my RR-style guitar (LTD Alexi Laiho) as I got tired to always put the guitar in its suitcase every time after I play. The stand is stable and works just fine, it doesn't hurt the guitar's neck and headstock. You can use it with standard shaped guitars as well,.
